TGIF

Today I'm trusting in Danny's interview skills! We are already hearing back from med schools and we have our first interview September 7th! Woot woot! Upping our timing of applications is already showing a dramatic difference. So I am trusting that things are going to go much more smoothly this time around.

I'm grateful for new life. My brand new, nephew named Porter arrived this week!! Pictures and post to come next week. It has been the most amazing week ever! I am so in love with him. Looking at Porter's little face and knowing he had his entire life in front of him...he could be a doctor, a lawyer, an artist, an architect. Anything. It is so amazing.

I'm inspired by my brother and his wife Tara. My brother transformed this week. Tara amazed me. She is so naturally a mother. Watching them hold Porter and talk about him and take care of him melted my heart. I asked them how their first night at home was, Bri told me they got up every few hours but it was amazing because every time they woke up Porter was so cute and they were so happy to see him that it didn't matter that they weren't sleeping. Their love for their new son is inspiring.
